Stephen G. Sanders, MD

Dr Sanders, a native of Birmingham, is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in June of 1979. He was a member of Radiology Associates of North Alabama in Jasper, Alabama for 28 years. In January of 2007 he left Radiology Associates for private practice and to join Northwest Diagnostics as Medical Director and radiologist.

Dr Sanders and his wife Jane have been married for 35 years and live in Jasper. Their daughter Jennifer is in pediatric residency in Charleston, SC and their son Phillip is self-employed and lives with his family in Atlanta, GA.

Dr Stephen Sanders is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. He also is certified as a diplomat with the American College of Radiology.
